1. The Saint Teresa Soccer Club is running a raffle as part of the 2007-08 registration drive. Income from the raffle will benefit the soccer program and help the families of the participants diluting the registration expenses. 2. The total cash price for the raffle is 1000.00 dollars divided as follow:
3. Families of players registered for the 2007-08 soccer program will be entitled to a minimum of 20 tickets (100.dollars value). They will receive 30 tickets (150 dollars value) if they have two kids registered and 40 tickets (200 dollars value) for 3 kids. 4. In order to be eligible for the tickets, kids from the same family registered for the soccer program must be related to each other on a first grade basis (i.e. brothers/stepbrothers/sisters/stepsisters). 5. Tickets will be sent to the families of registered players starting on or about June 25th 2007 upon payment of the registration fees. 6. Families receiving the raffle tickets may resell them at no more than 5 dollars each to recover the money paid for the registration fees. 7. In order to be included into the raffle the stubs from the ticket sold must be returned to the St. Teresa Soccer Program no later than September 1st 2007. 8. In addition to the tickets given to registered player, St. Teresa soccer program may sell raffle tickets to anyone that wishes to buy them. 9. Additional tickets can be brought at the price of 5 dollars each or 25.00 dollars for 5 or 45.00 dollars for 10. 10. The raffle will be held on St. Teresa soccer opening day on or about September 8, 2007. 11. In the event that there will be no opening day, the raffle will be held on the St. Teresa Family picnic on September 22, 2007. 12. A person does not need to be present to win the prices. 13. St. Teresa Soccer Program will make any attempt to reach the winners, however prices must be claimed within 180 days from the day of the raffle. 14. Unclaimed prices will be turned over to St. Teresa Soccer Program. 15. St. Teresa Soccer Program is not responsible for unreturned, stolen or lost tickets. 16. The chances of winning any price will depend on the number of tickets sold. 17. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes. 18. Winner’s names and pictures may be publicized and/or appear on the St. Teresa Parish bulletin and/or the St. Teresa website. 19. In case of cancellation of the soccer program the money for the registrations/raffle will be returned. However the portion of the money paid to the SIYSL will not be returned. 20. Any controversy related to the raffle will be decided by the Pastor of St. Teresa Parish . |
