Re-Registration – Re- registration for the 2007/2008 school year is due in. Please make sure each child brings in a completed re-registration form along with the $25.00 re-registration fee.

Application Days for the school year 2007/2008 – As a reminder, Application Days are only for new students who are applying to St. Teresa School. If your child is currently a student here, you do not have to come up to re-apply.
Grading of Eighth Grade ELA – On Friday, February 9th, the eighth grade students ONLY will not have school. Their teachers, along with other Catholic School teachers on Staten Island, must get together to mark the ELA exams.
Candy Drive – Our annual candy drive will begin on Thursday, February 8, 2007 and end on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. This fund-raiser is mandatory for all families. Each family will receive a box containing fifty (50) pieces of candy. The box will come home with the oldest child. Each bar of candy is $1.00. Payment of fifty (50) dollars may be made in cash, check, or money order. Please make checks or money orders payable to: St. Teresa School NOT World’s Finest Chocolate. Please do not allow your child to go selling candy door to door.
Winter Recess – St. Teresa School will be closed on February 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd for Presidents’ Day/Winter Recess. We will re-open on Friday, February 23rd with 11:00 Dismissal on this day. There will be NO SCHOOL BUS SERVICE on this day. This is the winter recess for the public schools and the Pioneer Bus Company.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – We will be celebrating “Fat Tuesday” on Tuesday, February 20th. Pancake suppers will be served in Conran Hall from 4:00 – until 8:00PM. Please come and join the fun!
“Housekeeping Reminders”:
· NO dogs or any other kind of animal, in the schoolyard at any time. There are children who are allergic to and/or terrified of animals.
· Children are NOT to run around the parked cars in the schoolyard.
· NO parking or pulling your car into any schoolyard during drop off and pick up.
· NO parking near the orange cones on Windsor Road during morning drop off. This area is for drop off only!
· When dropping off on Slosson Ave., please pull your car up past the school bus stop.
· NO parking in Casey’s when the signs are out.
· Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not block their driveways. DO NOT double or triple park on Windsor Road this is causing a major traffic jam!
· At afternoon dismissal, if you are picking your child up on Slosson Ave., you must move your car as soon as your child is dismissed…do not park there for any length of time or leave your car unattended at any time.
· Please make sure your child has his/her lunch with them before they leave for school. It becomes very disruptive for children to be called out of class to pick up their lunch.
Tuition Reminder – Tuition payment (#7) is due this month. To avoid late fees your tuition payment must be received at TMS on or before the 1st or the 15th of every month, depending on the payment plan you signed up for at enrollment. *Keep in mind that it takes 7-10 business days to process your payment.
