Mission Statement

Extraordinary Ministers help in serving the Eucharistic life of the parish community.
They are trained and commissioned to assist the priests in their unique role as ordained ministers in distributing the Eucharist.  At the request of the priests, they assist both at  Mass and in bringing Holy Communion to the sick or elderly at home, in  hospitals or nursing homes.

COMMUNION VISITS FOR THE HOMEBOUND

If you, or someone you know, cannot attend mass due to illness or advanced age, our Homebound ministry team is here to help. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned to assist at mass and also within our parish family through such homebound visits. Time for prayer, distribution of Holy Communion and conversation are part of caring for those in need, as well as keeping family connected. Call the rectory for more information and to arrange either a single or continuing visits.
