Mission Statement

We are parishioners who have an interest in helping our church grounds look beautiful and welcoming.  Our parish church is a very special place and we dedicate our time and our efforts to care for its landscaping and flower gardens.
Lovely flowers and shrubs give glory to God, their Creator. They can also lift our spirits as we appreciate their beauty and give thanks to God for creating all the wonders we find in nature.

St. Teresa's Gardening Angels

Do you enjoy the outdoors? Do you have a green thumb? Would you be willing to help perk up the flower garden in front of our church? We are looking for some parishioners who could pitch in and help make our grounds more beautiful. Its not difficult work and it makes a big difference. And it doesn’t involve much time. Even if you could help out once in a while your help would really be appreciated. Men, women, young and not so young - all are welcome.

Call Mary Kline at 718-720-3312 for information.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH !

We want to thank the all volunteers of the GARDENING ANGELS who have given so generously of their time and efforts to plant and maintain the flower gardens and landscaping in front of our church, our flagpole and the 9/11 memorial.
They have truly dedicated themselves to making our grounds welcoming and beautiful. There have been so many compliments and words of appreciation for their devoted service.

A special note of thanks is given to Pete and Kay Turner who planned, ordered and installed the special firefighters medallions and flag holders in front of the 9/11 monument.
They worked hard and truly did a superb job.

May the beauty and variety of the many plants and flowers in front of our church be just a sign of all the beauty and variety blossoming within our parish!
