The parish of Saint
Teresa wishes to help mothers who have chosen life. We wish to help the mothers
and children with their spiritual needs as well as their material needs. We try
to assist spiritually by praying for the mothers and their families. We try to
assist materially by providing mothers with the basic necessities in order to
care for the new life that they have welcomed into our world. |

Baby Bin Sunday - Every 3rd Sunday of the Month Upcoming Dates: August 15th, September 19th, October 17th We have been seeing blue skies and milder temperatures in the past month. Because of the change in weather, our babies will be needing lighter clothing as well as our regular staple items. Our thanks go out to the people of both parishes for their monetary contributions and donations of clothing and other baby items. You have helped so many mothers and their babies in ways you can't imagine. The items needed for this month are: - layettes for our newborns - lightweight jackets, sweaters and hats sizes 3 to 18 months - cotton, short sleeved onesies (one piece cotton stretchies with snaps) sizes 3 to 12 months - pajamas for infants and toddlers in light cottons - shorts and tops in lighter fabrics for boys and girls sizes 3 -24 months - sandals and shoes sizes 1 - 4 - gently used SUMMER clothing up to size 24 months - cotton blankets - DIAPERS - all sizes - A NEVER ENDING NEED! - wipes, baby shampoo and lotions, thermometers - baby furniture items - high chairs, umbrella strollers, regular strollers, car seats, cribs, etc. ***Special request: Size 12 months GIRL'S summer clothing***
If you are donating by check, please make the checks out to Good Counsel or Cross Roads Foundation, and NOT to St. Teresa's parish. If you would like to help with the activities of the Baby Bin please call 718-816-3050 and leave a message. We can really use your help. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS FOR THE BABY BIN OT THE FOOD PANTRY IN THE BACK OF THE CHURCH OR AT THE RECTORY. PLEASE BRING ITEMS ONLY ON THE DAYS WHEN SOMEONE IS THERE TO COLLECT THEM. CROSS ROAD FOUNDATION Volunteers needed for the Cross Road Foundation. Our objective is to reach out to women facing unplanned pregnancies with mercy and compassion of Jesus Christ by offering practical assistance in both word and action.
