The parish of Saint Teresa wishes to help mothers who have chosen life. We wish to help the mothers and children with their spiritual needs as well as their material needs. We try to assist spiritually by praying for the mothers and their families. We try to assist materially by providing mothers with the basic necessities in order to care for the new life that they have welcomed into our world.

Baby Bin Sunday - September 21

     September 21 is Baby Bin Sunday.  The hot weather is finally here. The babies we take care of will need all light clothing to get them through the summer months.  

The list below will give you some suggestions.

     -       layettes for our newborns
-       lightweight (cotton) EVERYTHING sizes 3 to 18 months
-       cotton, short sleeved onesies (one piece cotton stretchies with snaps)  sizes 3 to 12 months
-       shorts and tops in COTTON fabrics for boys and girls sizes 3 -18 months, bathing suits, too
-       sandals and sneakers sizes 1 - 4
-       gently used SUMMER clothing up to size 24 months
-       cotton blankets
-       DIAPERS - all sizes - A NEVER ENDING NEED!
-       wipes, baby shampoo and lotions, thermometers, baby bottles
-       baby furniture items - high chairs, umbrella strollers, regular strollers, car seats, cribs, etc. 

Our thanks go out to all parishioners of both St. Teresa and St. Nicholas who respond each and every month with baby items and monetary donations.  

Please leave the bulk donations inside Conran Hall and one of the members will remove them to their proper place.

If you are donating by check, please make the checks out to Good Counsel or Cross Roads Foundation, and NOT to St. Teresa's parish.

If you would like to help with the activities of the Baby Bin please call 718-816-3050 and leave a message.  We can really use your help.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS FOR THE BABY BIN OT THE FOOD PANTRY IN THE BACK OF THE CHURCH OR AT THE RECTORY.  PLEASE BRING ITEMS ONLY ON THE DAYS WHEN SOMEONE IS THERE TO COLLECT THEM.  MANY THANKS!

CROSS ROAD FOUNDATION

Volunteers needed for the Cross Road Foundation.  Our objective is to reach out to women facing unplanned pregnancies with mercy and compassion of Jesus Christ by offering practical assistance in both word and action.  Also needed are volunteers willing to help with office duties and material distribution.  If interested please call:  Gloria Gadzinski-Director of Volunteers at (718) 556-3474.
