RELIGIOUS EDUCATION BEGINS

Religion classes for our students in the public schools grades 1-8 will be held on Tuesday afternoon.  4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Late registration will be held on:
Wed., Sept. 17th Time:  7:00 pm 8:00 pm
Where:  St. Teresa School, Rm. 7-1

Requirements:

Must be a registered parishioner.
Copy of Baptismal certificate required at registration.
If child was baptized at St. Teresa no Baptismal cert. required.

Transfer student from a Rel. Ed. program or Catholic School:
Student transfer record submitted at registration.

CONFIRMATION RETREAT

 Students from our school and our CCD program who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in November will be participating in a special retreat program on

Friday, September 26^th,

4:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

This dynamic program will utilize all of our facilities . . . the Church, Lower Church Hall and the Gymnasium.

Please keep our candidates for Confirmation in your prayers.

Catechetical Sunday, September 21, 2008

Our Rel. Ed. teachers will be commissioned on Catechetical Sunday at the 9:00 am Mass.  
Please join us in prayer and worship on 9/21 to bless and support our teaching staff.

The year of St. Paul!  Martyr, Mystic, Missionary!

We begin the Jubilee Year of St. Paul the Apostle.  The Catholic Church throughout the world commemorates this be-millennium of his birth extending from June 28, 2008 to June 2009! In our parish, and especially our religious education program and school; the children will come to know the greatest apostle in the Church!  Through scripture, prayer, and educational material,
the year of St. Paul, will be a year of grace, and spiritual renewal for the Body of Christ, in the year, 2008/09!

So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest.  So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially; to those who belong to our family in the faith.

May the words of St. Paul grow in our hearts and bear worthy fruits of love and service to one another.
