Our
parish "campus" consists of several buildings sitting on six acres of property: On Victory Boulevard we have Saint Teresa of the Infant Jesus Church, Rectory
and School, as well as an athletic field. On Windsor Road we have the school
annex/convent and the religious residence. On LaBau Avenue and Northern
Boulevard we have the Saint Nicholas property which includes the Chapel and the
surrounding land. Over the past eighty years, our parish community has
enjoyed the wonderful facilities we now use. It is up to us to keep the
tradition of properly maintaining these structure. We are the heirs of giants of
an earlier generation who in a different and very difficult time sacrificed to
build the facilities we enjoy today. We are now challenged to refurbish these
facilities for the spiritual nourishment of the next generation. We, the
parish family of the Church of Saint Teresa of the Infant Jesus and Saint
Nicholas Chapel, must supply the means to achieve these goals by doing the best
we can with our financial resource. We have been faithful stewards. Now is the
time to move ahead with conviction, with foresight, and most of all, with faith.
Today, as the people of God on Staten Island, we take possession of our future
with courage and joy.

The
Church of Saint Teresa of the Infant Jesus and Saint Nicholas Chapel has been
serving the Catholic community of Staten Island since 1926. Throughout our
history the vibrant presence of the Holy Spirit has shown us the way. Saint
Teresa and Saint Nicholas had had - and will continue to have- a lasting impact
on the lives of many in our community and beyond. After months of
preparation, consultation and prayer, the Church of Saint Teresa has embarked on
a major restoration project intended to strengthen our parish to meet current
and future needs. Looking forward to the future requires our tending to the
present. The Development Fund campaign, with a goal of $ 2,500,000 will provide
the funds necessary to serve all people of good will in our part of Staten
Island for many years into the future.
